Exhibitions Without Walls is an international organization that offers Photographers and Digital Artists the chance to grow and develop professionally, and now they have Culver City artist Richard Rownak as one of five jurors for The Four Elements Competition.
“The world has been blessed with so many talented people who are now taking advantage of new technology to create statements of their individuality, ” noted Rownak, “Diversity is good. I feel privileged to be involved with a such creative energy and look forward to seeing new efforts to express feelings that are visualized in the artist adventure to find what delights oneself.”
The Four Elements Competition is based on the philosophy of classical art – the ancient Greeks believed that everything was made up of four elements: earth, water, air and fire. This competition is about submissions that visually speak to one or all of these elements using any type of subject matter and any style of photography or digital art.
Exhibition Without Walls is where photographers and digital artists submit works and the winners are then placed in an online exhibition. But winning artists get much more than just a spot on site. The top three finalists are awarded a cash prize as well as a hardcover portfolio book for Best In Competition; artists also benefit from the development of press releases that can be used by the finalist in their own promotional and marketing activities; announcements and promotion by Exhibitions Without Walls through various social media platforms; and a release sent out by Exhibitions Without Walls to major media organizations, trade journals, designers, gallery owners/directors and art consultants or other interested parties that participate in acquiring art for corporate organizations or art collectors.
