Parkway Standards – What’s Your Idea?

What’s a parkway? It’s that small strip between the sidewalk and the curb, where trees are planted and grass often grows.

There are plenty of other uses for parkways, including raised bed gardens, little libraries, sculptures, birdbaths, and ( yes, it’s only seasonal) city council signage. What would you like to see on local parkways?

The Culver City Public Works Department is developing new sustainability standards for landscape and hardscape modifications to Residential Parkways and is seeking community input.
