UPCC Endorses Paspalis, Levin and Robins

United Parents of Culver City (UPCC), the parent-run organization dedicated to promoting the interests of Culver City students, has announced that its members have voted to endorse Sue Robins for School Board.

“Sue is an impressive person and a great listener,” says UPCC president Jeannine Wisnosky Stehlin. “She’s a celebrated former Culver City Middle School science teacher, a parent, a corporate training specialist, and past president of the Farragut PTA. Sue will be an excellent board member who will always do what’s best for our students.”

UPCC has also endorsed School Board president and non-profit attorney Kathy Paspalis, whose two children attend CCHS and Steve Levin, an astrophysicist at the Jet Propulsion Lab, past president of Farragut’s booster club, and parent of three CCUSD students.

All three candidates embrace a vital working partnership with parents, teachers and staff, which UPCC considers to be the key to the continued success of the District.

Founded just over a year ago in May 2012, United Parents of Culver City (UPCC) is a parent-run, grassroots, democratic organization dedicated solely to the interests of our children – the students of Culver City. UPCC members are volunteer leaders from all five elementary schools, CCMS and CCHS. Members are current and former PTA and Booster Club Presidents, trustees of the Culver City Education Foundation and other parent leaders.
