Bike Safety @ Vets Park – Sept. 15

Do you know that traffic laws also apply to bikes; stop signs, intersections, turn signals, all that good stuff ? Did you know that being a Culver City resident can give you priority at a comprehensive all-day bike skills workshop? It’s always worth your time to get educated, so save the date – Sunday Sept. 15, 2013, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at  Veterans Park, 4117 Overland Ave. Culver City 90230.

This free class is a comprehensive 8-hour course designed to enable you to ride safely and confidently just about anywhere. The class features 4 hours of in-class instruction, 90 minutes of hands on skill and safety drills in a parking lot and a 60 minute neighborhood ride to put all that information into practice. With lots of time for questions, this is great opportunity to develop your confidence so you can bike anywhere anytime more comfortably. All students who complete the course will receive a free bike helmet and free light set.
