Culver City’s most impassioned TED (Technology, Education, Design) enthusiasts will be gathering at the Kirk Douglas Theater on June 23 for TEDxCulverCity 2013,to listen and discuss Ideas Worth Spreading. If you have been a fan of TED online or have been lucky enough to see one of the many international conferences presented over the last decade, we don’t have to say more. If you are new to TED, this is a great place to begin.
TEDx are events that are independently produced with permission from TED and are aimed at creating interdisciplinary dialogue and giving people a chance to share their expertise, perspective and ideas.
With 12 speakers presenting at this event, there will be conversations about many of Culver City’s best known features; architecture, history, theater, immersion language education, film, and art. The event will be webcast by LiveStream to it’s 24,000 TEDx followers, by why watch online when you can be there live?
