Fiesta La Ballona depends on local sponsors to make the westside’s best “Party in the Park” a reality each year. According to the Sponsorship Subcommittee Chair, Marcus G. Fiesta La Ballona, the City of Culver City’s annual, free, family-friendly festival, will occur August 23-25, 2013 in Veterans Park. This year’s festival features live music, food trucks and a food court, a Beer & Wine Garden, carnival rides, artisan wares, and vendor booths promoting local businesses and organizations.
Fiesta La Ballona is produced by the Culver City Parks and Recreation Department with the participation of the City’s Fiesta La Ballona Committee and the support of dozens of volunteers. The 2013 Fiesta La Ballona Committee, appointed by the City Council, includes Chair Ronnie Jayne, Vice-Chair Randy Arizmendiz, and members Stephen M. Fry, Beth Hyatt, Karen Gibbs, and Marcus G. Tiggs.
