Crime Blotter – Things Get Stolen

Burglary:
On April 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm, a reporting party called to report her company’s office was broken into and their property missing. The R/P said the office was secured on April 18, 2013 at 12:30 pm, and located in the 9300 block of Washington Boulevard. On April 19th at 9:00 am, another employee arrived at work and discovered their property missing.
Grand Theft:
On April 19, 2013 at 10:30 am, a victim called the police department to report that an unknown suspect had stolen currency from her purse. The victim said she arrived at work in the 6100 block of Bristol Parkway on April 16th at 12:30 pm and left her property in her office and went to an appointment. When she returned at 3:30 pm, she discovered her property missing.
Commercial Robbery:
On April 19, 2013 at 3:25 am, officers responded to the 5900 block of La Cienega Boulevard regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told then the following: he was approached by the suspect who punched him in the shoulder and ordered him to open the cash drawer. Fearing for his safety the victim gave him the property. The suspect then fled the location.
Vandalism:
On April 19, 2013 at 4:35 pm, officers responded to the 9700 block of Culver Boulevard regarding a vandalism investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; he was making a delivery when he noticed the front door window had been smashed out. The officers also contacted the owner of the location.
Residential Burglary:
On April 20, 2013 at 2:53 pm, officers responded to the 4000 block of Wade Street regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he and his roommate left the location at 9:30pm. When they returned at 11:30 pm the victim noticed his property missing. He checked with his roommate and discovered her property missing also.
