Culver City Unified School District will hold a Budget Work Study Session on February 19 in the Board Room of the District Office at 4034 Irving Place. The evening will start at 6:30 p.m. with a closed for Board of Education members, followed by a public session from 7 to 9 p.m.
The goals of the workshop are to:
*Work collaboratively with CCUSD stakeholders to continue to make prudent investments in the District’s educational programs
* Review the latest information available regarding the District’s operating revenues from all three sources: local, state, and federal
* Review the relationship of the District’s funding sources and its investments within the context of a multi-year projection
* Review potential opportunities for funding major investments in CCUSD capital facilities
“I am hopeful that parents and community members will join us in this important dialogue about our District’s financial future,” said Superintendent Dave LaRose.
