El Rincon Elementary School PTA has partnered with The Salvation Army to provide holiday assistance to local area families in need. Now through December 14, please bring donations to the school to help families in Culver City and beyond to have what they need. Requested food donations include canned fruits, vegetables, tuna, chicken, chicken broth, cranberry sauce, cream of mushroom soup, boxed macaroni & cheese, stuffing, rice, mashed potatoes, powdered milk, evaporated milk, peanut butter, jam, jelly, cornbread mix, cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix, and syrup.On you next trip to the store, just pick up two of these items as “extras” on your list, and know that you are helping a family that needs it this holiday season. Collection boxes will be located in each classroom at El Rincon Elementary School, 11177 Overland Avenue in Culver City.
