Honoring its commitment to provide extended service for the families it serves and for the community, Gates, Kingsley & Gates Smith Salsbury announces it will host its annual non-denominational Celebration of Life Candlelight Service at 6:30 p.m., December 12, in the chapel at 4220 South Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City. The service is open to the community.
In addition, it announced that it is a proud sponsor of the “Toys for Tots” toy drive for needy children in the community. New, unwrapped toys can be brought to the Celebration of Life Candlelight Service or dropped off at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Smith Salsbury anytime before December 22.
“The holidays are usually a joyous time filled with special memories. However, they can be especially difficult after the loss of a loved one,” said April Trzyna, location manager. “At Gates, Kingsley & Gates Smith Salsbury, we are committed to helping families and friends continue in the healing process after a loss. Our Celebration of Life Candlelight Service has become a holiday tradition that many look forward to as a way of gaining comfort and support.”
The program will feature musical performances by Gregory Pierce, a message from Rev. John Reid, a memorial slideshow presentation and the Candle Lighting Ceremony. To ensure loved ones are included in the slideshow, photos can be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at the office. Photos must be received by December 5th. Guests will be treated to refreshments and a special gift for each family following the service.
