Remembering France – Summer Symphony at Burton Chace Park

Summer is passing quickly. There are only two concerts remaining. Hear music in the park while you watch the boats in the marina, catch the sunset, watch the birds coming to shore, and feel the ocean breeze on your face. There are few other places like it in Southern California-the orchestra at the water’s edge. Make time for yourself, take it all in.

REMEMBERING FRANCE Why do we remember France? It is because we cannot forget French Music, Art, Literature, Science, History, Cuisine, their Social and Cultural impacts, and joie de vivre. Appearing in the concert from the East Coast are the anticipated duo-piano twins Christina and Michelle Naughton.

It rained the first concert, but the sunset was miraculous. The English concert was typical Southern California beach weather, it was a little cool, but wearing something warm made it alright, somewhat keeping in-line what fans at the ongoing London Olympics are wearing.

Whatever the weather, orchestral music in Chace Park along the water will exude its charm.

We hope to see you there.
