Crime Blotter for July 31st through August 6th.
Stolen Vehicle:
On August 1, 2012 at 6:45 pm, officers responded to the 12700 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a GTA investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he parked and locked his 2006 Chevy Silverado at 3:20 pm. When he returned at 6:15 pm his vehicle was missing.
Car Burglary:
On August 2, 2012 at 10:50 am, a victim called the police department to report her 2002 Honda was burglarized. The victim said 10:05 am she parked and locked her car in the 9800 block of Jefferson Boulevard. When she returned at 10:50 am she discovered her driver’s side front window had been broken out and her property missing.
Vandalism:
On August 2, 2012 at 12:53 pm, a victim came to the police department to report her 2010 Toyota had been vandalized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 12300 block of Washington Boulevard at 8:00 am. When she returned at 6:00 pm, she discovered her car had damage to its hood.
Residential Burglary:
On August 4, 2012 at 2:55 pm, officers responded to the 3400 block of Helms Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he said he locked and secured his residence on August 3, 2012 at 10:00 pm. When he returned the next day at 12:00 pm he discovered a rear window had been broken out and his property missing.
Wow, That’s a lot of crime.
