John Nachbar, City Manager and Executive Director of the Culver City Redevelopment Agency will report to the Culver City Chamber at an Issues & Eggs Forum on Thursday, February 2, 2012. The Courtyard by Marriott is the site for the first Issues & Eggs Forum of 2012.
The state’s elimination of redevelopment agencies has hit Culver City very hard because of the great success of our RDA and the reliance on funding for operations of the General Fund of Culver City.
Mr. Nachbar along with Community Development Director Sol Blumenfeld will report on potential elimination of programs and personnel from the city and RDA employment rolls.
The Chamber chose February 2nd date for Issues & Eggs since the official end of redevelopment agencies across California will happen on January 31st without any action by the governor or state legislature.
