Culver City Education Foundation’s “All For 1” Campaign Raises $80,000 —
With an ambitious goal of $1 million, CCEF raised $80,000 for Culver City Unified School District’s students in our first “All For 1” campaign, far exceeding any previous amount that we have raised in such a short period of time.
In prior years, the Culver City Education Foundation has raised the majority of our funds through private and public grants, and larger individual gifts. Through these resources, CCEF has been able to award over $200,000 in grants to benefit our students each year. This year, CCEF will be able to make an additional grant to CCUSD because of the “All For 1” campaign.
This money will go towards providing vital resources to our students, such as classroom technology updates, music and art programs, math and science enhancement programs, college prep support, and programs that support our struggling students.
The “All for 1” campaign not only raised money, but raised awareness of the Culver City Education Foundation like never before. Beginning with Fiesta La Ballona in August, CCEF trustees and friends reached out to families of Culver City students at each school’s Fall Registration and Back to School Night. A video starring our students asking parents and community members to give just $1 a day played at these events. It was then available on CCEF’s website as well as school websites. This video can also be seen here in the box on the left side of the page.
