At its December meeting, Ballona Creek Renaissance unanimously elected Michele Bigelow to its Board of Directors. A Culver City resident and former active member of the BCR Advisory Council, Michele has a long history of volunteering and working for local environmental organizations, including the Ballona Wetlands Land Trust. Michele also enjoys walking and bicycling and working to improve the creek and watershed bikeways.
Michele looks forward to assisting on a green space planning project, grant writing, and ongoing volunteer native plant garden care and creek cleanup efforts. “In addition to her excellent qualifications”, says BCR President Jim Lamm, “I really appreciate Michele’s shared interest in listening to and working with all stakeholders.”
