Life is a roller coast, a transition of good & bad times. I’m a breast cancer survivor, I’ve been married 25 years, & my husband and I have an amazing daughter…
My husband has worked as an actor for over 35 years, and together we’ve navigated the life of artists together. We study, we have friends, family, and we weather births, illnesses and death alone & together. And we practice feng shui.
“Even if you are in the state of utmost despair with no foreseeable path in front of you, with honesty, hard work, and perseverance, good fortune will arrive like an enchanting vision enfolding itself in front of your eyes.”
These positive words came from feng shui mentor, the late Grandmaster Lin Yun, who continuously teaches me the benefits of feng shui. I attend workshops with him & disciples from his center, to learn feng shui techniques to navigate life and experience good fortune.
I have also learned from Si Fu Master Sang, who teaches me the traditional compass school Chinese mathematical system accumulated over thousands of years – a feng shui method, harmonizing man-made environment and calculation of time and space. Thousands of years and tradition prove feng shui is a mathematical system that works.
And I believe, mentored by the late Grandmaster Lin Yun, feng shui is also a spiritual science.
So how does feng shui help you to succeed in life?
The Chinese believe there are factors that lead to success. First is destiny, second is hard work, third is feng shui, fourth is karma, and fifth is luck.
Destiny is often described as fate — some things you just cannot control. Have you ever been in a situation where no matter what you tried, destiny prevailed?
But there are things you can do… you work hard, you balance your environment –- practice feng shui, practice good karma –- do things for others, and if you do these things with intention in your heart, it will influence your luck.
With proper guidance, and an internal roadmap, luck will be in your favor, and you will find improvements in aspects of your life.
This is what feng shui is about. This is what I’ve seen, and this is what I will show to you. It truly is The Joy of Feng Shui.
In the next column, much more on feng shui…
