Dear Editor ,
I am writing to you as a teacher of 54 years who is currently teaching one class at West LA College. I found your [editorial- Just A Thought- Election Selection Reflection] caring and insightful but…I know from experience, the impact which you can have once you are retired-is minimal. (Hence I continue to teach my one class at West LA) Upon retirement, what you have learned about how children can succeed can then only be translated through the elected position. We all know that Nancy has learned so much about successful teaching techniques and is recognized by the professionals in the field, the students who have had her as a teacher, and the grateful parents for her excellence. Therefore, in my opinion, In order for Nancy Goldberg to spread her message, The Culver City School Board is the next step!
