Nancy Goldberg, recently retired teacher of 41 years at Culver City High School, announced her candidacy for one of two seats on the Culver City School Board in the election to be held on November 8th. Goldie, as her students and colleagues call her, feels the need to continue to provide the best education possible for the children of Culver City. She states, “I want to be an advocate for Culver City’s children. I understand what it takes to educate a child. It is more than just a teacher and a classroom, but that is where it starts.”
Nancy will officially kickoff her campaign on Sunday, July 31st at the home of Michael and Judy Bauer, 10676 Esterina Way, Culver City, from 3 to 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to the event to meet and greet the candidate and offer their support.
