Join us for Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 16, 10am–1pm, at Culver-Palms Family YMCA. Healthy Kids Day is celebrated at YMCAs across America and represents the nation’s largest health day for families. We bring families together to engage in fun, active play and to learn healthier habits that help them grow and thrive. Healthy Kids Day is free and open to all in the community.
We have a lot planned for the entire family including a four cable rock climbing wall, a giant inflatable obstacle course, a petting zoo, day camp activities like the Mad Scientist booth and face painting, arts and crafts, lots of fun games and prizes, soccer and basketball challenges, music and performances on the Grand Stage, a health fair to promote healthy living for kids, and much more! Healthy snacks and drinks will be available. The Culver City Fire Department is sending a Rig and Crew, and the Culver City Police is sending Office Gilbert and canine mascots Scout and Cosmo. In addition we’ll have a booth for Summer Camp sign -up.
