It’s time for that magical moment once again. The holiday season in Culver City starts off with the downtown Christmas Tree Lighting on Thursday Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Town Plaza (next to the Culver Hotel and Pacific Theaters.) Bundle up and be there for the Linwood Howe Elementary School Choir and Culver City High School AVPA Chamber Singers. After we turn on the tree, there will be hot cider, hot cocoa and other festive goodies. Some special guests are expected; Mayor Chris Armenta and members of the city council, and a special appearance by Santa Claus, so bring cameras.
As ever, you can take advantage of two hours of free parking at any of the three downtown structures, and the Downtown Valet Parking will also be available, so you can stay, eat, shop, and get in the spirit of the season.
Presented by the Downtown Business Association, City of Culver City and Culver City Redevelopment Agency.
Is the tree lighting this Thursday, Dec 6? at 6?
