State Senator Curren D. Price, Jr. (D-Los Angeles) partnered with California American Water and Golden State Water Company, Inc. to give away 400 turkeys to more than twenty organizations including; Soledad Enrichment Action Center, Walker Temple A.M.E Church, Jewish Family Services of Los Angeles (SOVA), Hollywood Sunset Free Clinic, Culver City / Palms Church of Christ, Koreatown Youth & Community Center, and Healing & Hope 4 Homeless.
Senator Price was present to greet many organizations from the faith-based, educational, and non-profit communities. He was gratified to see the many families receiving the free turkeys for Thanksgiving.
“I am happy to do anything that my office can do to assist organizations, families and individuals who have a need,” said Senator Price. “I appreciate the work of our water agencies and the opportunity to partner with them to help families enjoy a Thanksgiving meal”.
