So, you’ve been keeping up with all of it, and you think you are ready for the weekend. Take a deep breath – you’re going to donate to the yard sale at El Marino, clean the waterways with Heal the Bay, score some great reading at the Library Book Sale, prepare for Life After Oil at the Transition event, prep your audition piece for “Alice in Wonderland” with the Kentwood Players, make a list of all the qualities you want to see in the new CCUSD Superintendent, buy some fresh food at the new Westfield farmers market, watch “Emperor Jones” at the Clayton Museum, and run to raise money and awareness for Didi Hirsch and suicide prevention. Oh, and maybe drop by with a little housewarming gift for the CCFD at their new digs.
That’s a lot to do, Culver Citizens.
Maybe you should start the weekend with a yoga class at the YMCA. Then you can move through the list, knowing that whatever you choose, you are in the right place doing the right thing. And exhale, exhale, exhale….
