Friends, family, and community supporters of the Culver-Palms Family YMCA gathered on Wednesday night to celebrate the hundreds of thousands of dollars raised this year to help families in need. The Culver-Palms Y has been busy into campaign season, raising money to use as financial aid for adults and families that cannot afford a membership. So far $191,159.00 have been raised, with a grand goal of $225,000.00 that’s still in place. Wednesday night’s victory celebration included holiday singing performances from Palms Elementary and from the preschool program, holiday snacks, and holiday music galore. Everything took place amongst a festive scene in the courtyard of the Culver-Palms Family YMCA. The Y is still accepting donations to help those in need.
