What should the future look like? A discussion on housing and transportation matters with key policymakers Council member Mike Bonin, Culver City Mayor Meghan Sahli-Wells, and Juan Matute, Deputy Director of the UCLA Institute of Transportation Studies and Lecturer in Urban Planning will be happening at UCLA on July 18 at 6:30 pm.
Hosted by Abundant Housing LA at the Luskin School of Public Affairs, in Room 5391, this event will explore the possible actions we can take today to build a better Los Angeles in the future. What will it take to make sure that people from all backgrounds and income levels can access affordable, high-quality housing? What will help our city reduce traffic, pollution, and sprawl?
We will be hearing from our speakers on these issues, and then working in breakout groups to brainstorm and plan ahead for the region. We want to hear from you about what you think the best actions and policies are to achieve a Positive Future for Los Angeles!
