La Playa Preschool Co-op has been an organic creation of Culver City, serving families for half a century. Co-director Ruth Hollensteiner has been a solid part of La Playa for decades, through multiple co-directors and thousands of preschool students. Ruth is needing your support to take on cancer surgery and recovery time, and a GoFundMe page has been set up to help her get from here to health again.
“Ruth is a mother, a sister, grandmother-to-be, an aunt, a teacher and a friend. We want her to know that no matter what she faces in the months ahead, her community is surrounding her with all of the love and support she has shown us over the years.
