As the annual salute to veterans and first responders, a field of more than five hundred American flags will be installed in front of Veterans Memorial Park (4117 Overland Avenue) in time for Veterans Day. Everyone is welcome to participate in this annual, stunning tribute to local heroes by sponsoring a flag before November 11, 2026, and helping raise funds for local veterans support services.
With each $50 tax-deductible donation, a handmade yellow ribbon is added to personalize a flag in honor of a hero. The flags will be up for approximately two weeks, giving the community an opportunity to walk among the flags and pay tribute to local heroes.
To sponsor a flag and learn more, visit www.culvertribute.org now through Veterans Day, November 11.
