What can you do about civic involvement? How can a community actively cultivate good leaders? Leadership Culver City is now looking for people to sign up for it’s next series of workshops to address these question and many more.
A seven-month program in community leadership for individuals who live or work in Culver City and who are interested in increasing their knowledge about and engagement with community assets and issues. It’s an introduction to civic literacy through a series of monthly activities and exercises that expand the participants’ knowledge of Culver City: its governance, its businesses, its services, and its people.
A joint project of the City of Culver City, West Los Angeles College, Culver City Chamber of Commerce, the Exchange Club of Culver City, and the Rotary Club of Culver City, participants will have the opportunity to engage in conversations with community and business leaders, advocates, and change agents at each monthly session.
