The Culver City Democratic Club has announced how their members voted for endorsement in the upcoming council race. The club had already voted to endorse Mayor Freddy Puza’s re-election bid at a previous meeting.
In the past, this vote took place after a candidate forum. This year, the forum was cancelled due to a lack of participants.
This vote was for the City Council seat vacated by Dan O’Brien and the results were definitive.
81% chose Thomas Small
10% chose Jeannine Wisnosky Stehlin
7% preferred no endorsement
1% chose Kimberley Griffin
The next meeting of the club in September will discuss the ballot propositions and will vote to endorse afterwards. Only members of the club are eligible to vote in the endorsement process.
