Culver CityBus is enhancing transit service to better meet rider needs. Beginning Monday, July 13, 2026, service changes will take effect across all routes to improve connections, increase frequency, and improve overall service for riders.
Key updates include, extended service hours on select lines, routing adjustments, new stops, and updated destination signs.
Revised schedules to better serve Venice High School students and major destinations, riders should note important changes to Lines 2 and 5. Line 5 will no longer serve Venice High School in the afternoon. Additional service has been added to Line 2 to create a more consistent experience for riders.
The northbound Line 2 stop at Inglewood/Courtleigh will also be permanently closed due to low ridership and the close spacing of nearby stops.
Together, these service changes will increase overall Culver CityBus service by 7%, giving riders more options and supporting a more reliable commute. Riders can view the full list of service changes on the Culver CityBus website.
Culver CityBus now accepts contactless payment (credit card, debit card, or mobile payment platform).
Also starting on July 13, Transit will be the official app of Culver CityBus. All Culver CityBus riders receive premium Transit Royale benefits at no charge. Visit the Transit App website to learn more about and download the app. When planning trips, be sure to select travel dates on or after July 13, 2026.

Culver CityBus thanks riders for their continued support and looks forward to delivering a smoother, more reliable transit experience.
