Culver City is taking an exciting step toward creating a community where women and girls can thrive.
It started as a conversation.
At the June 10, 2024, City Council meeting, Council Members and City staff participated in discussion to explore ways to strengthen opportunities, expand leadership, and ensure City programs and services better support women and girls. Those discussions led to a shared vision for a limited-term dedicated body focused on these important issues.
On January 12, 2026, the City Council unanimously directed the City Manager to establish a limited-term Women and Girls Advisory body to help identify community needs, elevate diverse voices, and recommend meaningful actions that support women and girls throughout Culver City.
Now, the city wants to hear from you!
What issues should the Women and Girls’ committee champion? What opportunities should they create? What changes would make the biggest difference for women and girls in our community?
