Community members age 62 and older are invited to attend a free workshop to receive assistance applying for Metro’s Senior TAP Card, which provides significant discounts on public transportation throughout the region.
Thursday, May 21 (that’s today!)
Culver City Senior Center, 4095 Overland Ave.
Open to adults age 62 and older
Culver City Transportation staff will be available to help eligible community members with the Senior TAP Card application process. Staff will also be able to take and submit the required photo for the card, helping make the process easier and more accessible for applicants.
With a Senior TAP Card, eligible riders can access reduced fares on Culver CityBus, Metro rail and bus service, Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, and other participating transit systems. For many trips, seniors can ride for as little as 35 cents.
The Senior TAP Card is available to Southern California residents age 62 and older. You do not need to be a member of the Culver City Senior Center to attend.
Whether you are a regular transit rider or interested in trying public transportation for the first time, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn more, apply for the card, and take advantage of reduced fares across the region.
Join us Thursday, May 21 at the Culver City Senior Center and get help applying for your Senior TAP Card.
