The California Center for Climate Change Education at West Los Angeles College, in partnership with Climate Designers LA, will host the Climate Arts Fest — part of the 4th Annual Climate Palooza and a marquee event of LA Climate Week 2026.
The Climate Arts Fest makes the case that climate action is inseparable from culture, community, and justice.
As California’s only state-designated climate education center treating climate change as a social justice issue, the California Center for Climate Change Education uses events like this to connect residents, students, artists, and activists across Los Angeles with the organizations, ideas, and skills needed to build a more resilient and equitable future.

This event transforms the WLAC campus into an immersive experience of creativity, indigenous wisdom, and climate action, featuring 30+ local organizations, hands-on workshops, live performances, film screenings, and interactive exhibits spanning art, sustainable fashion, XR storytelling, ecology, and more.

Marcela Oliva, Professor of Architecture and Environmental Design at LATTC, principal investigator for the NASA Cyber-Physical Systems NSF Grant, and California Governor’s Award recipient in Geospatial Technologies.
More than thirty partner organizations will be particiapting, including Climate Designers LA, LA Compost, the Westside Repair Cafe, Youth Climate Strike Los Angeles, the Ferdandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians, Long Beach Forward, and the California Doughnut Economics Coalition.
