Culver City Education Foundation to Host Drive-In Movie May 1 – Tickets Online Now

The CCEF is celebrating its 40th anniversary year. As a kick-off event, the Ed Foundation will be holding a COVID-safe, drive-in movie screening of the much-loved classic E.T. on May 1. Funds raised will support essential Arts and STEM programs as well as strategic initiatives throughout the entire Culver City Unified School District.

E.T., directed and produced by Steven Spielberg and distributed by Universal Pictures, was filmed in 1981. This is the same year CCEF was formed by a group of dedicated parents who wanted to ensure the best possible education for Culver City students. Not only was the post-production on the film done right here in the Heart of Screenland, a scene from the movie was shot at Culver City High School!

Doors will open at 6 p.m., and event will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Ticketing is all in advance online. No on-site ticket purchasing available.
