The avant-garde building rising above the La Cienega Metro Station is in the process of taking on the outer layer from which it takes it’s name; The Wrapper
Designed by architect Eric Owen Moss, the building will be supported by a series of curving steel ribbons wrapping exterior, which will permit for an open-layout interior free of columns. The tower will be more than 200 feet tall, culminating in a rooftop deck overlooking Los Angeles. The Wrapper is being touted by Samitaur as the “pinnacle” of the Conjunctive Points – a series of unique office buildings developed by Samitaur and designed by Moss.
The building on the southeast corner of Jefferson and National will consist of a 17-stories; 180,000 square feet of office space above retail space opening onto an adjoining bike trail, as well as a subterranean parking garage. Construction is currently on pace for completion in late 2021, according to a leasing brochure.
