On Friday May 1, 2026, millions of workers, students and families across the US will rally, march and take action to demand that our government prioritize Workers over Billionaires. We will show our collective strength by refusing to conduct business as usual. No School. No Work. No Shopping.
In Culver City, we will gather in front of City Hall at 4:30 pm, and march to a rally at the Culver Steps. At Culver Steps, participants will chant, sing, and listen to speakers demand safety and justice for workers and communities.
Thousands of participants from Culver City and surrounding areas are expected to attend.
This year’s May Day actions are inspired by Minnesota unions, community organizations and workers who came together to withhold economic power in response to federal agents’ violent occupation of their city.
This event is organized by Culver City and Friends Rising (CCAFR), Show Up Culver City, and Westside Indivisible.
