CCMS Speech Team Takes Honors at National Tournament

On Sunday, December 15, the Culver City Middle School Speech Team competed in its first full tournament. This was a national tournament with more than 600 entries, from 46 schools in six states across the country. All of the school’s 24 competing students truly shone in their professionalism, poise, and performances with only four months of training in speech and debate. Special congratulations to the students listed below who made final rounds and placed in the competition.

If you are interested in joining the (now award-winning) speech team, it is holding auditions in the new year to open up 10 to 15 more spots for interested students.

You can inquire or express interest at [email protected]. A mandatory student/parent Zoom will be held on January 13 and information will be listed in the Paw Print.
