At the Nov. 12, 2024 meeting of the CCUSD School Board, the board approved and adopted Resolution #18/2024-2025, authorizing CCUSD to participate in the Zero Emission School Bus and Infrastructure (ZESBI) Incentive project.
ZESBI, a partnership between the California Air Resources Board and the California Energy Commission, offers funds to support local districts to transition to zero-emission school bus fleets and charging infrastructure.
Replacing gas-powered school buses with zero-emission school buses will reduce transportation pollutants and emissions, contributing to the improvement of community health and progress towards California’s climate goals.
