LA City and County Candidates Invited for CET Forum – Oct. 26

Editor’s Note – While Culver City does not vote for Los Angeles City Candidates, we do vote for Los Angles County candidates, and so we are publishing the info on this forum for voters who are interested

On October 26, 2024, Civic Engagement Taskforce will host a Candidates Forum, providing a platform for voters to engage directly with candidates running in the November 5, 2024, election. This event is designed to foster an open and respectful environment where community members can learn about candidates’ platforms and engage in meaningful discussions.

The event will kick off at 2:00 PM with a presentation of colors by Pacific Palisades Boy Scouts
Troop 223, followed by a special performance of “America the Beautiful,” featuring a tribute to
Betsy Ross. Candidates will then present their visions for the future, followed by an interactive
Q&A session where voters can ask questions directly.

The candidates forum will take place at 5309 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City, CA 90230, with
doors opening at 1:30 PM. All community members are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to connect with candidates ahead of the election.

• Los Angeles City Council • Los Angeles County District Attorney • Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education • Superior Court of Los Angeles County • Los Angeles Community College Board of Trustees • California State Assembly • U.S. House of Representatives
