The bike path on the North side of Ballona Creek was to be closed for two days, but required only one.
The closure, owing to the presence of heavy machinery, was for public safety. The sectionthat was closed, from Syd Kronenthal Park to Duquesne Avenue, was reopened Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024.
The operation was done by Los Angeles City Sanitation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Los Angeles County.
