The community is invited for United Against Hate: a Discussion Panel on Thursday, September 26 at 11 am. This is a ‘lunch and learn’ event hosted by the Los Angeles Outpatient Center.
Hate crimes are real, chronically underreported, and have widespread negative impacts on targeted communities. This event will feature a discussion panel with Mental Health Professionals, Culver City Police Chief Jason Sims, the Culver City Mobile Crisis Team, and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office of Victim Services.
Topics will cover the difference between a hate crime and a hate incident, reporting, and how we can work to support victims and create safer communities together.
Los Angeles Outpatient Center at 6053 Bristol Parkway.
