“Her dedication and devotion to family, friends, children of all ages, and to life itself has been a lesson in power and joy,” said her husband, Scott Love. “Marshanne has had an everlasting affect on everyone who has had the pleasure of witnessing her profound love and kindness.”
Marshanne has been gallantly fighting cancer since March, 2021, but lost her battle with cancer on June 26, 2024.
“Marshanne dedicated 20 years of her life to teaching within CCUSD, imparting knowledge, her love of Panda Bears, and kindness to countless students,” said Superintendent Brian Lucas. “She was particularly cherished for her role as a second-grade teacher at El Rincon Elementary School, where her dedication to teaching and love for El Rincon were palpable.”

A crowd-funding effort has been started for El Rincon Elementary School teacher Marshanne Kendrick-Love, who passed away on Wednesday.
“We are in need of your support and this fund will help to assist us in her final arrangements,” he husband said. “Celebratory memorial services will be determined as we collect funds and other support monies over the next couple of weeks. Thank you to our large community of family and friends.”
