Walking or biking to school is a great way to promote a healthy, active lifestyle among students. Students learn responsibility, good decision making and community awareness. And remember, more kids walking or biking to school, means fewer cars, less pollution and safer, cleaner neighborhoods!
Start off Bike Month by joining the first ever Culver City Bike Bus. What’s a Bike Bus? A simple and fun way to help kids bike to school more easily and safely. We meet at a starting point and our trained “bus drivers” will roll to scheduled “stops” along the way, picking up riders as they join in. This Wednesday, we will meet at National and Wesley and roll to Ballona Creek and CCMS, Farragut, El Rincon and EL Marino along the way. Parents are welcome to join!
