At the City Council meeting on Monday April 29, City Council officially recognized May 2024 as Older Americans Month. The City of Culver City’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Department will be celebrating all month long!
The theme of this year’s celebration is “Powered by Connection,” and we welcome all community members age 50+ to stop by the Culver City Senior Center and discover our activities and events.
A few highlights from the celebration this month include:
Health Fair with Cedars Sinai on Thursday, May 9 from 12:30 PM-3:30 PM
Free self-defense workshop for CCSCA members Friday, May 10 at 10 AM
Paint & Sip (with tea) on Monday, May 20 at 1:30 PM
Friendship Mixer & Friend Speed Dating on Wednesday, May 22 at 1:30 PM
City Council will recognize Culver City Senior of the Year David Voncannon at the Council meeting on Tuesday, May 28 at 6:30 PM
Team Trivia on Wednesday, May 29 at 1:15 PM
plus our hundreds of regularly scheduled classes, support groups and workshops offered each month.
