Lincoln Properties will be holding a community meeting in regard to the property being planned for development at 5700 Hannum Avenue. The proposed 309 unit mixed-use complex will be the focus for community comments on Thursday July 27, 2023, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at 600 Corporate Point at the Lobby Level. The City of Culver City requires developers to hold three community meetings; this will be the second for this project.
From the Fox Hills Neighborhood Association, “The California State requirements for housing currently needed in Culver City is 3341 units. The density designation for housing in Fox Hills is 100 units per acre, which could result in approximately 2000 units built in Fox Hills. This density is for the south side of Slauson, where there are already 2600 units.”
According to Lincoln Properties, “The project is consistent with the updated Housing Element, meeting the city’s future goals and providing much needed housing units. The 6-story project creates a vibrant transition between commercial uses to the north and west and residential uses to the east for neighbors and pedestrians by providing new retail, open space, and housing at street level”
