Westside Youth Orchestra presents the California premiere of Brahms & Vaughn Williams Meet Dan Brown’s ‘Wild Symphony’ on May 20, 2023 at 7:00 PM
The movements of Wild Symphony each correspond to an animal featured in the picture book, including joyous rhythms of Bouncing Kangaroo, mysterious melodies of Wondrous Whale, and hair-raising harmonies of Brilliant Bat.
The performance will include narration by Nigerian-American actor, Chet Anekwe, and animal images projected behind the orchestra. Dan Brown wrote the book and music specifically for a young audience, to inspire them to attend live classical concerts.
