The cast of characters running on Sunday, March 12, 2023 through downtown Culver City included the original crew of the Enterprise, a Seussical collection of ‘Things,” a few superheroes and Sonic the Hedgehog; all them walking and running the route for the annual Screenland 5K.
The race, which began as a part of the Centennial celebration has continued on as a yearly basis, with a virtual race during the pandemic.
This years top finisher was Ayden Buchanan, age 17, finishing with a time of 16:26, followed by Mathieu Cros, age 32, with a time of 16:39, and Pedro Aquino, age 40, with a time of 18:06.
