The improvements to the Jackson Avenue gate to the the Ballona Creek bike path include stainless steel bollards, and a freshly repaved entrance. The enhanced bike path entrance will help keep school bound cyclists off the roadways, and facilitate safety for riders.
Ballona Creek Bike Path entrances, including Jackson Avenue, are closed ‘in advance of and during rain events” prioritizing the creek’s function as a flood control channel.
