The Culver City Council Meeting on Monday Jan. 9, 2023 will confirm the appointment of a new Artist Laureate, as well as looking to fill openings on the Disability Committee, the Fiesta La Ballona Committee, the Landlord-Tenant Mediation Board, and the Advisory Committee on Housing and Homelessness.
This will also be the meeting when committee appointments are made among city council members, for seats on the League of Cities, the Southern California Association of Governments, and committees within the municipal structure.
The Artist Laureate will be Katy Krantz, (pictured above) a sculptor and painter whose work includes more than a decade of installations and exhibitions.
