Tree Lighting, Performances and Playtime – Dec. 1

Town Plaza in Downtown Culver City will once again be home to a beautiful 22-foot Rocky Mountain pine tree, glowing with over 7,500 warm-white LED lights. On December 1st, the Mayor and City Council will join in with the community as we light the tree to kick off the holiday season. Various local groups, including Culver City elementary schools, Culver City Middle School and the AVPA High School will provide musical performances, along with a variety of other local choirs and performing groups. We’ve also extended a special invitation to Santa Claus to be part of the celebration!

Come early and enjoy playing and sledding in 25 tons of snow – first come, first serve. In addition, there will be games and activity booths provided by Culver City Parks and Recreation Community Services and Kiwanis, all opening at 5pm. Stage Performances begin at 6pm.

One of the crowd favorites is the Treat Tents, where free cookies and treats donated by our Downtown businesses are given out to everyone in attendance, along with hot apple cider, coffee and more!

We look forward to sharing the Annual Tree Lighting Sled-tacular with you as we welcome in the holiday season in Downtown Culver City.
