The Culver City Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee has created a Community Contributions Award to honor four outstanding individuals for their contributions to equity and human relations in Culver City.
The four recipients will be individuals who have embodied inclusiveness, altruism, and giving through volunteerism and public service to make Culver City a better place for all people to live.
Each honoree will receive a medallion at a ceremony held in Spring 2023.
Four award categories: One award will be given to each of the following:
An Individual – A Culver City resident or a person employed in Culver City
A Student – Resident of Culver City or attending a Culver City Elementary, Middle School or High School, or West LA College
A Culver City business owner
An executive director of a non-profit organization serving the Culver City area
Any Culver City resident, business owner, student, or person employed in the city may nominate an individual who embodies these attributes.
The deadline for submissions will be January 31, 2023. The nominees will be selected soon thereafter.
